2010 Living Safety Awards (BlueScope Steel)

K&R Fabrications has again been recognised for its outstanding safety performance at the BlueScope Steel 2010 Living Safety Awards. K&R Fabrications was honored to receive two highly commended awards:

• Most Improved Group
• Best Performing Business.

These awards are outstanding given the number of nominations for each of the categories and to be recognised by our peers highlights the performance of K&R Fabrications.

These awards continue the success that K&R have had over the years when they won two categories and a highly commended in last year’s awards.

Some of the major achievements made by K&R Fabrications at the Port Kembla Steelworks include:

• 6 years and 6 months Lost Time Injury Free
• 3 years and 3 months Medically Treated Injury Free
• 12 months All Injury Free from August 2008 – July 2009
